I knew I wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember, reading and writing throughout most of my childhood. However, this dream really started to become a reality when I graduated from high school in 2016. That summer I started an internship with the Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area where I was able to cover local events, create press releases, and publish my work in the Downtown Oakville Summer Guide and Look Local Magazine. This experience gave me the confidence that I needed to start in the journalism program at Sheridan College.

During my first-year at Sheridan I experienced a lot. I met many like-minded journalists who helped me map out where I wanted to go in the field. I was a first-year representative, I worked the journalism open house, and I was chosen by my professors and program coordinator to cover the Blue Jays game live from the Rogers Centre. The summer after my first-year, I did an internship with the Oakville Community Foundation where I diligently covered stories for Canada's 150th as a Communications Assistant.

When I came back to school in September for my second-year of college, I was able to take classes that put to work all that I learned in first-year. I was able to be the Producer for my Broadcast News class, Managing Editor of DEVIUM Magazine, Producer of the Toronto Christmas Market event, and Editor of Gen Y Not Us online publication.
I have now graduated from Sheridan and this summer I will be working with Notable Life online publication, as an intern, researching and creating content for millennials. I can’t wait to start my journey here and learn from a company that expresses my passions at the forefront of their work!

I am an open-minded, out-of-the-box, creator and I cannot wait to see where I end up. If you are interested in following my journey, keep up with my articles by subscribing to my website.
Lifestyle, magazine, and online news writing are my passions, but there is a lot more to me than that. I am a 20-year-old journalist from Oakville, Ontario and am overall, a creator. Besides my professional work, I best express myself through creative writing, poetry, painting, and drawing.

External Work
Here is some of the work that I have done for external sources. This includes a video documentation of the making of the Ashquaing muskoka chair for the Oakville Community Foundation during a ten week internship as the Canada 150th Communications Assistant. As well as an article written about Yelp's 100 Days of Summer for the Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area.
